Chengbin Xue

Dr. Chengbin Xue received his Ph.D. degree in Biology from University of Nanjing, China. During his Ph.D. studies he focused on Tissue Engineering and Peripheral Nerve Regeneration. peripheral nerve defect. He joined Jiangsu Clinical Medicine Center of Tissue Engineering and Nerve Injury Repair, Research Center of Clinical Medicine in Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University, Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Neuroregeneration in Nantong University.

Chengbin joined Prof. Khademhosseini’s Lab in December 2019 as a visiting scholar at UCLA, California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI). Here he is pursuing his research on preparation and characterization of injectable shear thinning biomaterials, including but not limited to engineered hydrogels, for tissue engineering, drug release and delivery. He apply his experience and training in substitutional treatment of aneurysm and other exciting field in the Khademhosseini lab.
