Hi, I’m Shu-Kai Hu from Taiwan.  Shu-Kai received his Bachelor Degree in the Chemical Engineering Department of National Taiwan University, and then he studied the PhD program in the same institution. His research interest includes developing supported lipid bilayer platforms for purifying membrane proteins and using graphene field effect transistor in bio-sensing applications. Currently, he is in his one-year visiting program in Ali Khademhosseini Lab in UCLA. He focused on Organ-on-a-chip field, including Alzheimer disease, Brain Blood Barrier, and Brain tumor projects for further drug developments. In addition, he is interested in using 3D printing technique to develop micro-needles. Besides, he highly enjoyed in coding and researching machine learning and blockchain techniques.
