Prof. Khademhosseini has been elected as an Associate Faculty of the Harvard’s Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering. The Wyss Institute which was initiated by the largest single gift to Harvard University brings together leading faculty from across Harvard University and affiliated institutes to use bioinspired approaches to address challenges in a range of fields ranging from biomedicine and energy. Dr. Khademhosseini’s involvement at Wyss will revolve around development of self-assembling microsystems and biomimetic materials.
