We are happy to announce that Prof. Khademhosseini has been selected as the recipient of the 2013 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society’s Technical Achievement Award. The award is given to recognize outstanding achievement, contribution and/or innovation in a technical area of biomedical engineering. Prof. Khademhosseini was cited for contributions at the interface between engineering, biomaterials and biological sciences, especially applications of micro- and nanoengineered biomaterials for regenerative medicine. It will be presented at the annual EMBS meeting in Japan (http://embc2013.embs.org/).
