We are proud to announce that Dr. Weijia Zhang has received the prestigious “Thousand Young Talents Program Award” from the Chinese central government and will be joining the faculty of Food Science Department at the Shanghai Ocean University effective May 2015. Weijia has been working in the laboratory as a postdoctoral research fellow on health-related biomedical technology and organ-on-chip devices. At Shanghai Ocean University, he will continue his research on food safety detection techniques and food science. We wish him all the best in his future career.
