We are proud to announce that Joao Ribas, a Ph.D. student jointly supervised by Prof. Ali Khademhosseini and Dr. Lino Ferreira, received his degree from the University of Coimbra with the highest honors and praise from the jury members. Joao developed his thesis on vascular organs-on-a-chip for disease modeling and drug discovery. We congratulate Joao and wish all the best for his new career in venture capital.
