Xingwu Zhou

Xingwu Zhou is the master student in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UCLA. He graduated from University of Waterloo in Canada with distinguished honor. During his undergraduate study, he majored in Materials and Nanosciences and performed various research projects, including drug delivery for cancer treatment, lithium batteries, and mucoadhesive drug delivery for dry eye diseases. For the graduate study, he looks forward to contributing on organ-on-the-chips and 3D bioprinting fields in Ali’s group. Apart from great passion in scientific research, he is also extremely interested in entrepreneurship, start-up and technology transfer. His most powerful motivation comes from the belief that what he is doing right now in the laboratory could become the products that somebody could use in the future.
