(Tech) from respective schools in July 2018. During his doctoral studies, he was associated with Dept. of Chemistry (IIT M), Mechanical Engineering (IIT M) and Applied Physics (Aalto University) for his interdisciplinary research. He holds expertise on molecular functionalization, surface engineering, interfaces, fabrication of nano-biomaterials, wettability, magnetic nano-materials, etc. He earned M.Sc. in Chemistry (gold medalist) from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras). Before that, he has finished B.Sc. in Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

He joined the Khademhosseini lab in March 2019 as a postdoctoral scholar in the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA. Here, his research is focused on fabrication of functional bio-materials for biomedical applications including drug delivery and capture, wound healing, regenerative bio-adhesives and others. He loves to work in a team and currently, leading the bio-materials sub-groups in Khademhosseini’s lab.
