Aly Ung
Aly Ung is a third year undergraduate UCLA student studying bioengineering with a concentration in computer science. Aly joined the Khademhosseini Lab in March 2019 and is currently working in the Organ-on-a-Chip subgroup. Her passion for bioengineering grew from her experience working with tissue engineering during the 2016 UCSD Cosmo cohort. Her current research interests range from neuro-technology, diagnostic technology, and tissue engineering. At UCLA, she is involved in technological project teams such as CruX’s BCI competition team and BME’s build team as well as service oriented organizations such as Fellowship for International Service and Health (FISH). Striving to learn to create and creating to serve, Aly hopes to someday establish her own biotech firm and eventually partake in policy making to contribute to the ever evolving field of bioethics.
