Prof. Qingzhi Wu is an independent group leader at the Wuhan University of Technology, State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing, P. R. China. He received his PhD from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2003. His research interest focuses on the synthesis of various nanostructured materials for applications in biomedical and environmental fields, including the syntheses and biological effects of inorganic nanomaterials, preparation of organic-inorganic nanocomposites as scaffolds for tissue engineering, and preparation of graphene-based nanocomposites for biomedical and environmental applications. He joined Prof. Khademhosseini’s Lab in Aug. 2018 as a visiting scholar in the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) and the Department of Bioengineering at UCLA, on the working of preparation and biomedical applications of hydrogels.
