Zhikang Li
Zhikang Li received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from Xidian University in July 2010 and his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in March 2017. During his Ph.D. program, he joined the group of Prof. Liwei Lin in University of California at Berkeley as a jointly cultivated student to do his research for one year. From May 2017, he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University as a postdoctoral researcher, supervised by Prof. Zhuangde Jiang. Previously, his research interests focus on the modeling, design and fabrication of capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (CMUTs) and piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducers (PMUTs), and their applications on medical ultrasound therapy and biochemical detection. In December 2018, he joined the Khademhosseini’s lab as an assistant researcher in the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA under the support of the International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship Program awarded by China Postdoctoral Council. His research is to develop flexible/stretchable sensors for medical applications under supervision of Prof. Ali Khademhosseini.
