We are very proud to announce that Dr. MD Anwarul Hasan will be joining the American University of Beirut in Lebanon as a faculty member of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering effective January 2014. Dr. Hasan joined our laboratory as an NSERC postdoctoral fellow in January 2012, and since then he has been working in the areas of biomechanics of heart valves, tissue engineering of blood vessels and vascularization of tissue engineered constructs. Dr Hasan has been an outstanding researcher as well as a great colleague and team player. We congratulate Dr Hasan on assuming his new position, and wish him all the bests in all his future endeavors!
